@73FJ40 So yesterday at SEMA in the back of their Rustic Green '83 for sale is a brand new bag like the zippered style pouch we are discussing!! Turns out The FJ Company makes them in house. Was gorgeous but no Teq insignia.

Might pick up a long slender yellow jack labeled part number 09110-13010. Can't load the pic but it is labeled as a .7 ton jack, maybe @wscbill can identify what year or range of years these came with 40's? Could not find under Jack Reference. Thanks

It is not a Land Cruiser jack, although often advertised as one. The rating is metric tons, .7 metric ton is 1543 lbs, compared to the standard 2 ton (4409lbs). Significantly (and dangerously) undersized for use with a Land Cruiser. This is also a taller jack and won't fit the under seat jack bracket.

Discussed in the jack reference on pages 6, 44, 45. There are several varieties: TEQ and Toyota Motor by STO, and a TEQ version made by Kawasaki Industrial.

Hey guys came across a yellow bottle jack that seems a bit taller than the 35001 variety. Labeled .7 ton and number appears to be 09116-13010? Were these even a Landcruiser jack or for another Toyota? Maybe @wscbill can chime in. Thanks

Not land cruiser

Could be a Publica. Foreign market vehicle from Toyota!

Part number is EHS-1. Google EHS-1 KTC, it returns hits for availability from Rakuten, Amazon and eBay.

I picked up this tool roll this morning at an estate sale. I paid 40, he was asking 20 but I found the hammer and drivers in another box. Still missing the crescent and grease fitting but I'm pretty happy about it. Thanks for all the good info here.

Sorry to be an amateur with very slow uploads. But these pliers have me a bit curious. They are stamped Japan, but not toyo anywhere. Any ideas why the jaws look like crimpers? And yeah I know one driver and the small wrench don't belong. Thanks!

Those pilers aren't correct either, but still a great score.

You can find correct ones on eBay once and a while.

Looks like someone might have made a special tool for some reason from a pair of pliers. $40? Beyond a great score!

For these single wire hose clamps. The jaws allow you to grab straight on or from the side:

Today I was cleaning up my original tool pouch

After 48 years under the driver seat of my FJ40 the thing was full of dirt, probably more than a cm in the bottom inside. Removing it I discovered that there are 2 straps at the bottom of the bag. I had never seen them before and never saw anyone mentioning them online:

My guess is that it has for purpose to hold down the long tools to let the small one easily accessible. But that's only a guess so if you know better let me know.

Mixed in the dirt I also found a few original rusted PTO winch shear pins, a cut nail that was used as a shear pin at some point and a made up tool to remove shear pins. And a lot of washers of all kind.

That bag is really heavy duty, I'm impressed by the quality of the canvas they used, once I rediscovered it under the filth that was covering it.
