Sorry, FJ40'74 what?
This thread has been super helpful. I'm trying to piece together a bag for my 74. After reading a bunch of threads on this, I want to make sure I'm getting the correct parts. Can anyone verify? I see the list @wscbill provided, but the part numbers I'm finding don't match up.
I need the jack also. Seems like that's 09110-35011.
- pouch w/handle (09120-60050)
- jack handle (yellow) (09113-35011)
- pliers (09130-00020)
- screwdriver (handle with 2-ended insert) (09135-00010)
- open-end wrenches (2, with plastic clip) (found 09141-00030, 09141-00050, & 09140-22010) (plastic clip?)
- adjustable wrench (09145-00030)
- lug nut wrench/pry-bar (09150-30011)
- spark plug wrench (09155-36010)
- pry bar ?
- wheel cap installation tool ?
- grease attachment? (BJs only)
Thank you! That's very helpful. Those are the original part numbers. For some tools, the part number has been changed. For others, although the part number may be the same, the contemporary version may be different from the 1974 tool.
For original tools, post a want ad in Classifieds, check eBay or your local Cruiser club members. City Racer sells new individual tools and sets. Lots of repro tool bags on eBay and occasionally original tool bags, sometime with original tools.
A 1974 tool kit would include the tools pictured. The pry bar (wheel cap remover) and wheel cap installation tools weren't added until around 1980. Check Mud classifieds, eBay or local sources for the jack, jack handle and jack rods, as pictured the 09110-35011 jack.
