So far I have been impressed with how much articulation KDSS provides.
On the other hand, I am not impressed with CRAWL. When your kids/passengers ask you what is wrong with the car, it's not a good thing. Not my cup of tea.
Seriously loud and obnoxious!!

Took the truck out for some after dark photos last night. Weather was atrocious, but couldn't be happier with how this thing drives. A rough dirt road that most people take at 25 MPH felt highway smooth at 60. Ride quality is even substantially better than my Icon Stage Two-equipped Ranger. Did some low range stuff over some muddy frame twisters and it just ate that up like it was driving around town.

Also, I can't recommend the HTX2s enough, as you can see below. Please don't use or repost these pictures, had a pro shoot them for upcoming articles. That hill is 600 yards away across a canyon (I've previously ranged it with a laser while hunting).

That's ridiculous throw! 2nd pic looks like its fake with the beam. Guess the real name brands cost more for a reason.

Looks brighter than the Luxor light!

Pretty pleased with how this thing is performing. The extra suspension travel really seems to combine well with KDSS. Despite the added height, it corners flat and feels very stable and confidence inspiring on mountain roads. Off road, it just tackles obstacles totally level, without ever loosing traction. And on dirt roads, it just flies along like you're on the highway. Took a pretty sunset photo last night:

That lighting is utterly f’in mad, and I love it.

Liking the naked rear bumper armor look!

When are the sliders coming?

When are the sliders coming?

Gotta figure out what we want to run first. Had to arrange for a new garage door as a priority first, since the truck is now 80.25 inches in total height. Trying to determine the right balance between weight, convenience (steps), looks, and protection.

It's a slippery slope isn't it? Modded truck leads to needing a modded garage.

I noticed you had issues with wheels\tires not clearing the fenders due to their offset. The TRD Rock Warrior wheels with 285/75r17 tires clear my fenders on full compression. Rock Warriors have a +50 offset.

Rock Warriors are also possibly the ugliest wheels ever conceived by mankind. I'd rather run these:

If you do want 17's and you need a high+ offset, you could import some 17" steelies. Here's a part number:

or 42611-60A61
These are both phone dial looks. There are another couple options in five spoke.
