I'm sorry Scott, I didn't mean to rain on all your work. It's just that we now have at least 4 or 5 options floating around:

1. Holy Jim run and lunch at Cooks Corner
2. Holy Jim run and lunch at Rose Cantina
3. Holy Jim run and bbq at O'neil
4. Partial run on Santiago and bbq somewhere on the mountain.
5. BBQ at O'neil and run up Santiago?

Have I missed any?

I've stayed up on this thread and I have no idea what we're doing or that a decision has been made at all.

I'm only suggesting that we KISS - keep it simple stupid. :D ...and no, I'm not hitting on you. There isn't enough alcohol in the world for that. :flipoff2:

We need to be cognizant of the fact that most folks showing up have no flipping idea what/where we are talking about outside of the excellent google maps you've posted. This is in yours, mine,Mo's and Dave's backyard, so we do know. The rest don't.

I should have added a smile, I was half joking and frustrated as well. The Cinco De Mayo date complicated things a bit but as a 48 year OC local I was just trying to show the out of towner's some hospitality. Anyway I'll show up wherever ready for whatever you guys decide on.

Cogniwhat? lol

Shoot if this is too complicated, we can just meet at the Adventureduo shop :D We can BBQ, create havoc, park anywhere we want and nobody can tell us what to do. All for free. After a few beers we can even do a snorkel install... i'll even drill the hole :flipoff2:

Shop is in Anaheim at 91 and Tustin. Gated and protected from yahoos. Not to mention i don't have to drive my rig, it's already there

If you have an itch to be an urban mall crawler you can go wheel on a loading dock.

6. Party at Dave's shop.

:D:beer::cheers:

Yeah 3. Holy Jim run and bbq at O'neil makes the most sense, getting the votes so lets go what that.

6. Party at Dave's shop after  nice to see my two-tone brother :steer: back I'll bring the spray paint :hillbilly:

Any mud worth putting on the 315 MT's for in Holy Jim?

Brian

LOL! caught me. I deleted my thread because i didn't want to complicate things even more.

Wow -- This isn't a thread, it's a tapestry! I'm going to try to make it, wherever we finally decide. :D

Good lord this is confusing. Thank goodness Brent summed it up other wise it would have been impossible for me to catch up. I am a few weeks behind on my Mudness, actually any computer activity at all. The DT's are starting to subside but I will check with Woody about some IH8MUD methadone. :D

Ok

We need a game plan.

Meet up 10:30am like planned. Run back in the canyon a ways, get the tires dirty and take some group photos. Then head over to Oneil.

PLAN A: BBQ at Oneil. We should all bring a little something. Bring your own beverages. We can do dogs and burgers.. cheap enough. People can bring chips, buns, or side dishes like potato salad, chili etc etc Someone can bring charcoal.
I can volunteer to make bolsa chica chili.
PLAN B: Take your chips, sodas, dogs etc home and head over to Cooks or Rose Cantina and eat there.

If nothing else, looks like the weather should be good for Sunday guys.

Post up what you can bring to the park.

Soda - What do you guys prefer: Coke or Pepsi products (regular + diet).

Ill bring my Coleman propane burner for anybody that might need it.
Im not a good cook so Ill let somebody take care of that.

I'll bring brats and saurkraught...unless I've got to work an it's looming as a real possibility all weekend.

I can bring my big three burner stove and the grill that fits over two of those burners. No mess with charcoal that way!

Oh man, we'll cross our fingers for you Brent. Hopefully you won't have to work. When will you know for sure?

The grill that fits over the burners sounds good.

I was going to recommend a propane bbq too just for that reason - clean up. I have one but it's under construction right now :D

Well, month end close and the company has changed how we book our revenue and cost of goods sold. I still don't have reports for me to actually record it yet. If I've got to go to plan b, it'll probably mean me spending way too much time with the computer and an excel spreadsheet this weekend. I'm just lucky as hell that I've got a weekend between the 1st and 2nd workday of the month.

I hear ya. So that means you can work on your laptop at home? or do you have to be there? Just mentioning it because maybe you can meet up for an hour or so then head back home to slave away. However you slice it, it will be good to see you again.. it's been a long time.

Going to skip golf Saturday to get work done so I can come out. I promised you a

Just got news from our IT dept a few minutes ago that they are moving the changes for my reports into production today and I'll be able to see the reports tomorrow. :bounce::bounce2::bounce: That'll help!!!

Well it could be 5 rigs or 20. I'd plan on at least 15-20 people. No real head count as of right now.

Just a package of plates, plasticware and napkins should work fine. I'll have other silverware, paper towels etc already in the trailer.
