Mine has rusted out. I have new exhaust from where sensor goes out the back. I can buy the front header pipe for $110. Somewhere not long ago I saw where I could buy JUST the block that the sensor mounts to and just have a pipe made at the local exhaust shop. No I can't find them...Anyone know where they sell them?

Again it is just the part that the sensor mounts in on the exhaust pipe. All they do is gut it in the top of a new pipe and weld it. it is for a 1989 base pickup 1989

For the life of me I can't find them...

LC Engineering sell the O2 sections but they are flanged and not welded. They might also sell just the bung for the O2 sensor that you weld into a pipe. Not sure but you might check with them.

If your sensor bung has rusted off the front exhaust pipe, the rest of the pipe isn't all that far behind. I'd just replace the whole pipe. Be minute wise, not hour foolish. I think you'd rather be wheeling in the future than repairing the exhaust pipe yet again.

I agree. I will have them make me a pipe to the donut gasket then weld the flange on it. Should be cheaper than buying the "header pipe" in one piece...right?

It is only a couple of months old from the O2 sensor out the back...pipe, muffler, then tailpipe. Was just trying to get it done for $50 instead of $159. We didn't think it needed the front pipe when I put the new exhaust on...WRONG again.

Maybe you folks can tell me where I can get the pipe sensor block and all cheaper than what I am finding...?

I picked up that front exhaust pipe for $140 for an 89 2WD pickup from Advance Auto Parts a couple weeks ago. It was made by Walker.

Edit: BTW, on mine the bung rusted out. I put a tin patch over it's spot and held it on with a couple clamps. Then the pipe broke there so I made the tin patch full wrap around and clamped it. Then it broke just after the Y. No way to patch it there. This was all within a year.

Go find a FJ62 at a boneyard, preferable a u-pull, and cut the thing off for cheap.
