vaeviticus, i am tearing down a 82 hj47 and would like to assist in some later model bolts for panels and engine trans and all that, so far ive torn down a few bits and pieces and bagged and tagged them accorrdingly, i have a collection of thread guages, all i ask for some help on to record down the sizes and suchAnyone with the link to the google spreadsheet can add COMMENTS to the document, or can download and do with what you want. Comments will be taken into account and information added as needed. Comments within this thread will also be added to the spreadsheet, especially if you do some of the work for us.
Note that there is a list of sources on the 2nd sheet of the workbook. If you have others, please suggest adding those sources.

Does anyone know what size the two screws are that attach the tail lights to the bumper (not the 4 screws that attach the lens to the housing). They are a a JIS head with a captured washer.
The threads were so fouled with dirt that I destroyed them in the removal process (which took a couple of hours).

Looks like part no. 93319-15020, list price $1.03 each at your local dealer.
The part number "might" decode to 5mm dia. by 20mm long.
