So apparently the mini truck PS box I intalled has a ton of slack in it. Any fixes? Can it be rebuilt? Hate to go pulling and trying boxes in hopes of finding a good one.

I just had my manual steering box rebuilt locally in Fort Worth, as it had even more play in it than yours. I'm sure a PS box can be done the same way.

Just talked to West TX Offroad. $180 for the rebuild, ship to them and they ship back in a week.

PS after 1 pump failure, one dummy moment, and this slack issue, this will be the FOURTH time i've pulled the steering out of this truck this summer...ugh

Feel your pain. I don't care what anyone says...power steering on these trucks is not easy.

West Texas does good work...have had very good experiences working with them.

starting to really dig this truck...may be hard to sell it (current plan is to convert it into a nice 60).
