Andy, are you going to install a front hoop? Thats the first thing I'm putting on my stock YJ when I swap the new carb on it. I've just seen too many crushed in window frames and stock cages not to add a little extra. Bluetorchfab is about a mile from my office, so I'll probably have them throw one in.

Dan sold Bluetorch a few years ago and moved back to Dothan, recently opening a new shop. I'm sure he had a noncompete clause for a while. I really want that YJ four link kit but I'm keeping mine stock since i've had it since I was 15. Its only getting an explorer 8.8 rear axle and a vortec V8/auto swap, a front cage and better seats, but everything else will be like it was in '89 when we bought it.

You need to get a 5.3

If you are ever in the area, hit me up and come take a ride in mine for inspiration. With center dump corvette headers, cold air intake, and tuned ECU it will REALLY get up and move when you want it to. Also, the PO did an incredible job on the swap too:

What the diff gearing?

I'm putting the same combo in my 60 soon. Judging from the plastic cover, this looks like a gen iv.
