@77TLCFJ40 lash, just now getting around to mounting the belts I bought from you. Is below how you mounted the L brackets? If so did you have to space them up away from the roll bar mount? Mine won't sit flush because of the shape of the mount.

Good day today with the 40. Another long drive with no issues.
All she needs now is new upholstery, seatbelts and paint. Problem is that $$ is gonna put me way over what she's worth...

It's been so long I don't remember, but I'm pretty sure it is opposite how you have them in the pic. I had to mount the belt to the bracket and then the bracket to the fender. Check the back of each bracket for a little clearance grinding. That may tip you off to the "right" way.

Man I've thought about that but after having it sandblasted and then primered I want the next step to be the proper paint job. Plus I want to drive it for a while and shake out anything major before I spend the jack on paint.
