He's been out, supposed to be back in tomorrow, going to give him a ring.

I think it may just need to advance the timing a bit, gonna try that as soon as I can get my hands on a light.

Also...you get my PC about weber pedal pics? Gotta drill the firewall and I am skeered...

Mechanic did a full wet/dry compression test today. Results were not good.

Cyl 1: 100dry, 110wet
Cyl 2: 100dry, 120wet
Cyl 3: 100dry, 110wet
Cyl 4: 95dry, 100wet
Cyl 5: 80dry, 100wet
Cyl 6: 85dry, 95wet

Would Georg be the guy to contact about finding another 2F? All my reading says Toyota lists 115 as the minimum...

I know your are trying to keep it fairly stock, but there is no way I would (personally) go back with a 2F. Not saying it isn't a great motor, very reliable, ect....can't say anything bad about it except that it is heavy. Granted it would be a lot easier. After driving Srob's around town I would love to have more power in my 40.

I guess I'm open to anything. Problem is right now is very bad timing. Just signed a contract to build a shop at the house, so an extra $3-5k is gonna be a problem...

Agree. A nice simple V8 swap is the answer
x10!
