Guy had a fuel pressure meter. We tried it from 2-4psi, then bypassed it altogether. Same results.

I don't have a pressure meter. I'm assuming there is no other way to check fuel pressure?
 
Good Luck! Bodean's carb has always been good. He gets great fuel mileage too. Just ask him!

I feel your pain... It will be right, hang in there. Mine is acting like a ass too. Guess not driving it for a while takes it toll on it.

Thanks but it it is just one thing after another now.

Changed the oil, cranked it up and it's belching blue/black smoke out of the exhaust.

Nd didn't have the right accelerator cable for the weber.

Bad day.

This s*** will drive you crazy. Monday-Friday thats my exact thought on many of the cars coming thru 49 Tire. Thats why I dont play with this crap much after dark...

cruisers have done one thing for me for sure. they have taught me patience...

Could an oil overfill be the cause of smoke out of the exhaust? It's the only thing that has changed and I'm trying to think of something that will explain this short of the really bad obvious stuff.

Edit. It has to be this. Has to, right?

I have never had a 2f smoke with overfill.
 
Overfilled half a qt, max. I did change to 50w after it was previously running 30w. That have anything to do with it maybe?

I know I'm grasping...just feel sick thinking about what it might be.
