Andy it seems like I remember you saying you wanted some nitro trail grapplers in a 295/70R18. I happened to find some on Craigslist in your size that are located in Baton Rouge.

Only have 5K miles. Priced at 1000. Might be worth checking out....

Martin,

Thanks for keeping an eye out man!

Gonna be tough to squeeze these and the bumper in...still might try though...

What kind of mileage do you have on your current TG?

26 months and probably about 25k, and they are not wearing good. I'll have to change them before I go to CO next summer...

Oh okay. Didn't know if you might be able to sell them. Anyways, just remembered you wanting some so I thought I would pass them along.

Cool, and thanks again for the heads up.

I can sell you a new set for that.

Awesome. I'll be headed your way next summer then.

Updates?

Just read through 40 pages hoping to find a beautifully restored & completed 40! Your rig is looking great so far; made any progress? It's inspirational for some of us that can't seem to get our own projects going. Thanks and keep it up.

Thx but sorry to report not much progress lately. Stuck on a carb issue...

Dude any good carb guy should be able to have that weber going in no time. Don't know of many that will work on it without the rig present so they can tune it tho.

Any good carb guy in Monroe is tough to find.

I have a guy that's going to do it, but his mom got hospitalized the day we were going to meet up. She's sick and it will prob be a while before he can work on it. So I'm waiting...again.

I'm seriously considering just buying a new one.

Call Bob at TPI4x4.com. That's where mine and a lot of Webers came from. He supposedly jets them for a 2F. Who knows?? You need a 38

What's the status on this rig?
