Planning a lost coast trip in July with a bunch of rigs, you should come!
Add me to the list. We normally do Petrolia and that area around that time anyway so this sounds perfect.

I've been trying to keep up on this thread, but have likely missed the answer to this question if it's been asked: Are there any recommendations for sliders once one has done a body lift? I did the 1" on my 2019 200 and I'm really happy with it. Would like to start uparmoring, but I don't know if I can go with an off-the-shelf solution or if I need to go semi-custom or custom. Thnaks in advance for any advice!

Rock sliders are frame mounted so having a BM Lift won't affect it. It'll just make the body higher than the slider giving it a little gap... which is a benefit if your sliders are super close to the body.

For people with OEM steps they can trim the steps accordingly to blend in the gap.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I tweaked both the front and rear bumper (stock tupperware) to eliminate the gap. Ideally I want sliders that minimize the gap between the frame and body, but not sure which (if any) manufacturers can accommodate this.

TKO has some with a "kick-up" that they describe as "high and tight". I believe some others with lifts have used these.

Budbuilt actually sells a LC slider built for 1" body lift. So the whole slider is mounted an inch higher on the frame mounting plates. If you have a LC, I think that's the best bet to keep the slider as high and tight as you can to the raised body and also minimize ugly gap between rocker panel and sliders.

Unfortunately, no such option exists for the LX, but I'm sure something could be fabbed up. Or you could even chop up and modify the TKO sliders to accomplish something similar.

White knuckle offroad have an option for a 1" body lift on their sliders but landcruiser only. Don’t think they work with the LX AHC...

Perfect, thank you! Will definitely look into this option. I've heard good things about Budbulit's product.

Will also look into this. Cheers!

I finally purchased a whole roll of this trim and I think it’s the best look I’ve found. It looks to be just over 1 1/8” inch tall from the bottom of the groove that will slide over the bumper material. I think this could work for both the 1” and 1.5” kits but each person can judge for themselves.

I need someone to test it for me. Does anyone have my 1.5” kit with a gap above a front or rear bumper that isn’t resolved yet? If you measure how many feet you need, I’d like to send some out to someone for free. I will have to sell it for $9/foot with free domestic shipping after that. I know it can be trimmed down for height, since I’ve cut a different style down, but it’s tricky to trim the height in a nice straight line, so I may leave that up to the 1” gap guys to do that themselves. If enough interest was there, maybe we could get TrimLok to make a shorter height version of it.

Who needs this?

As always, thank you for the support!
Do you still have this trim for sale?

I do still have some. I sent some to Jason Wells (XFactor) but it was too short for him. Shoot me a message and let me know how much you need to try it.

Just finished up the 1" install on a 2019 LX570.

Very subtle. Very OEM+ i like it

Here's a pic of how I was able to jack thr body up. Each time you do this you can do 2 mounts at a time.

Reinstalling the rear bumper wasn't too bad and I ended up not modifying anything. I just have to remember not to put weight on the rear bumper like standing on it...

Front bumper was more of a pain as it required to cut the foam back a nice bit.. also I noticed the bottom/side splash guards sit a lil lower now than the front bumper.

Radiator support was a pain until I texted NST direct and he Informed me to do the supports as I lift the body mount which helped. Additionally its much easier to install the lower mount if you knock out the glued screw and install it after you do the radiator first with the long bolt.

Thank you for posting your tips and I’m glad you’re happy with it 👍🏼

Please post up some shots if it when you’re done too

You can put square aluminum tubing in the rear bumper as a support. That's what I did and I can stand on it no problem.

FYI, would have purchased these after StellarBuilt did my install. Get that entrepreneurial spirit going and sell these pls.
