So I recently did the heater Ts, timing belt, water pump, thermostat, etc. Everything has been working great since then EXCEPT, my heater doesn't seem to blow hot air unless I put it to max. =/

Previously, the digital temperature control seemed to work fine with smooth HVAC control.

The engine temperature read out via OBDII reports ~190ish when driving.

While I live in a warm climate and don't mind this, is this something I should be worrying about? Current guess is something is wrong with the new (or the way I installed it) thermostat.

Would anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thank you kindly,

Likely air in the system. Or t-stat in backwards, but I don't know that it will even go in that way.

Hmm I'll see about the air.

Yeah pretty sure that tstat only when in one way. I remember making damn sure it was in right when doing the job.

It's esay to install a t-stat backwards, but that causes overheating. The spring goes inside the engine.

I agree air in the system.

Turn up the heat, but not to max and drive normally. Once the air bubble moves you'll get massive heat all of a sudden.
Just make sure your overflow tank is full to the brim.

It can also be a blocked heater core. I have seen it before.

Wouldn't hurt to double check your Heater hose routing and the position of your T-stat.

This might be related...
When I pulled out the heater Ts they came out in pieces. It's possible some crumbled heater T fell down the tube. That might blocking access to some degree.

I'm guessing there's no trap or easy way to access that is there?
