Next club wheeling day Saturday September 8

Yeah, was a little strange. I was on a slight hill and I had the clutch all the way out. Revved in first and then in second. Don't think I got past 3rd in the driving I did today.

Thought I was imagining things at first and then it did it again at another stop.

I've never cared much about special clutches when it comes to underpowered old 4 cyl Toyotas. I'm sure if I replace it with a LUK from Rock Auto I won't have to replace it again while I own it.... especially if I do a crawl box!

And Andy I have had good luck with LUK products, and also with the clutch kits that JT Outfitters sells. Easy job on your truck, too much easier than an FJ40!

I was still thinking of camping, but I'm also still digging for my power issue...
I may need to ride with someone on Saturday if I don't get my truck back together...

Me and another Tacoma will be heading up tomorrow to camp at RC and wheel anthracite Saturday with you guys and possibly camp Saturday night and wheel RC Sunday if anyone’s interested. Bringing the tiny taco for its maiden wheeling trip as well.
