Newly acquired 1970 fj55

I just purchased this pig from a nice young guy down in LA. Replaced the old F1 with a rebuilt F2 from a 79 and swapped out transmission and transfer case from an early 80’s fj 60. Lots of stuff not hooked up inside like wipers, heater and no tailgate window regulator. Looking forward to working on it.

Very nice. Is that a beige roof? Assume the factory color was green over white?

Yeah. The PO wire wheeled it down to bare metal, primed then painted it tan. Said he liked how it looked so left it be.
