I'm working on getting mine uploaded to Photobucket right now so I'll link up when it's done.

Andy,

Thanks for hosting the ride and everything.. You guys are very lucky to have those resources in your "back-yard".

How was the 2nd night camping? Sure seemed like it was going to get a good bit colder than Saturday night was.

Also, I think I have all my pics and videos up now on PhotoBucket. Let me know if there's anything wrong (I haven't used PB in a while).

I thought the abandoned Chevy was a bad omen for the crossing the the first video.

Ha! After we (silver and maroon 80s) split from the group, we entered the northeast side of the cove and drive down to the church. Must have been around 2pm or so, and a guy on a 4wheeler told us a couple was in a chevy truck that had drifted and was stuck in the creek. They called the Rescue Squad who showed up 30 minutes later in a 85ish Suburban with 36ish boggers on it.

And here y'all are just strolling by it's carcass. Nice!

We went through the day after. The creek had gone down considerably by then.

You are welcome to come ride with us, you can join the club later if you like our group.
Andy should be posting up the details of meeting location and time soooon.

Roger,

thanks for the hot food and I enjoyed the ride...good group of folks. I'll follow up with some more questions about your 60 later on, if OK with you.

Hey guys, we went up for a day trip on Friday and conditions were not so wet. We did get stuck in some mud holes on the last leg before crossing the creek on the way to the "1410" hill climb. Oh, and that Chevy wasn't there when we drove by that spot.

Me, Marius and Daniel

It dropped almost as fast as it rose. Here's a comparison shot...

On Saturday about 2:00

and the exact same spot when we crossed about 11:00 on Sunday

That's Roger T. (DSLTOY) in his 60, running 38s and a snorkel. He and Rob (Tellico Rob) were the lab rats on the deeper or unknown crossings, otherwise we'd just ease into the water with a foot on the brake pedal and clutch just in case.

I wonder where the rest of the pics are...:meh:

Ted, I hope you're not referring to my pics. Cause they're up on PhotoBucket as I'm SURE you already saw.
