Funny you say that. I have a pound of gunpowder that got mixed with another type of powder so now it's only good for pyrotechnics.

They have christmas stuff after the first of the year?
Which end are we going to start from this year? Jasper? Tracy City? Us Memphis folk can make it there about 11:00 (central) on Saturday, 1/1, at either end.

Any room for a couple of non-members? My buddy and I both have stock FZJ-80s with lockers, and we talked about riding the cove on Dec 31st. Now it looks like Jan 1st might be when we head out, and we found this ride.
It sounds like most of you are starting on Dec 31st - at a minimum, we can introduce ourselves as we may catch up with you on the trail.

Thanks! What is the current plan for the ride? Is everyone camping and making this a 2-day trip, or is this a single day/night adventure?
I'm just not sure. Blowing stuff up and pooping in holes - is there anything better?

Would a for-the-day only option be viable? I know it is a tremondous burden to escort people out so I am good with 'no'. Being able to join in for the day is a long shot for me right now, but it would be great. If it is possible on your end, then I have a goal to work towards.

That's what Elbert did last year, and I believe is doing this year. We just made a night ride out of escorting him out.
