Man. A lot of great work going on. Youll have a keeper for sure.

Thats a fine spring combo but heads up you may net more than 2.5” with tht j spring and i would go straight to castor plates over bushings.

@jfz80 thanks for the heads up. Those additional requirements drive the build cost up. Maybe the best option for now is to stick to stock height OME and upgrade in the future. This way I can avoid all the castor plates and shaft upgrades. Plus the truck has somewhat new 295/75R16 BFG K02.
I really like the look of post #8 in This thread by @4runnin2

"Interesting, it seems like most people don't do the front drive shaft. Could it be that if you are not loaded down in the front that the lack of weight let's the spring stand taller causing more of an issue with the caster and causes the vibration in the shaft. Im not opposed to buying a new front driveshaft just curious. I have stock height ome springs installed now with a 30mm spacer in the front and no spacer in the rear. Once I installed my bumper and winch the front dropped a little over an inch. Right now I am setting about 1/2" lower in the front. "

A 2 1/2" OME lift kit is simple and no need for any correction. An alignment is advised.

From what I’ve read a lot of people that do the 2.5” lift have caster issues as well some vibrations. Not all, but enough to make you think twice. Due to others input I will install drop plates. Simply a bolt on mod and I get to keep my new OEM bushes. I don’t do much off-road so the clearance will not be a concern. Will share results once I get all the parts in.

Had Safelite stop by to repair a few chips in the original windshield....it broke during repairs.
Ended up ordering an OEM Toyota replacement along with new seal. Was installed by a local shop following the FSM. Very happy with the results. I could not locate the bronze tint for the LX, so I went with the green tint.

While I was at it, I decided to fix the hood wobble. The adhesive used to bond the hood skin to the support frame has broken down over time. This causes the skin to wobble up and down at speeds. I use some Loctite two part epoxy I had in the garage. A little messy but it should do the trick! Once it cures, 6 hrs, I will install a new oem hood insulation.
