Give me a break - I woke up with the flu Sunday morning and am still recovering. Plus, that movie wasn't one I wanted to keep in my memory.

Not yet. He and his boys arrive tomorrow afternoon.

Purchased MetricLC's front heater rebuild kit. Had everything I needed to clean it up and make it functional again. Also cleaned up the rear heater and blower.

The PO purchased a replacement for the rear heater blower as the original was seized up.

I'd forgotten how many bolts are in this thing. Spent last two evenings chasing threads.

Picked up Mothers Back to Black plastic restorer. Short term improvement is awesome. Will see how well it does in the long term.

Still plugging away. Working on wiring harness repairs. A friend taught me a trick got nice and tight butt splices.

Steering is mocked up. Still need to get the hoses made, but the tough stuff is done.

Hmmm. So using the fj40 end kinda removes the other attachment for the stabilizer. Looking good.

Yes it does. Thinking I'll just go with an aftermarket stabilizer that clamps on with u-bolts. Same setup that I had with the Saginaw setup on my 77.

Received some unobtanium parts today

Modified the Ford shock mounts to avoid trimming the fenders and clearing the overflow tank.

Fitting fenders and aprons.

Now to take it apart so I can weld up and paint the shock towers.

Life gave me a little time this week, so progress was made. Fenders and tranny hump underside are now lined with black Raptor. Started final bolting up of the fenders last night, but needed to knock out a quick 30 mile bike ride. Will be working on getting the everything bolted up on the front this weekend, and then move on to finalizing the brake, fuel, electrical, and steering systems one at a time.

@trainrech without reading back through the entire thread, what liner are you using in the tub ? It looks really nice.

Tinted Raptor Liner. Very easy to use.

Gonna need some help to get the front clip put together and looking nice. I think I'm close, but definitely can be better.

Don't start that thing till you bleed the ps pump. It might have been easier to put the windshield in with a couch cushion holding it while you lean on it.
