Found in a Field sat for over 10 years last registered in 1990. Needs some tlc. Pulled wheles and brakes must have just been done prior to sitting. Owner said motor was done and smoked. Well the push rod inspection cover leaked and she had a massive exhaust leak. Other than that the rig fired up with some chemical coaching and ran. So far new oil filter, fuel filter, rotor, cap, wires, plugs, oil. Seafoam tank and crank case. Basicly all fluids. Tackleing rat eaten wires now and yes its super fun. Sorry for the huge image.

Carlos,
Thanks she is Pallux orange and will need some luv. She sat for over 10 years got her running and now just figuring wiring and what not that needs to be done to get her on the road safely. After that its rust work and paint and yes original paint scheme. I'll get more pics up later this week.

Or '72. Hope the Oregon weather was nice to it while it slept for 10 yrs. She looks relly nice considering. You gonna keep it a stocker? Too many built rigs on this forum, we need to see more restos ;p Sweet swine dude!

Its a 1972 well thats what the tag says. She has some minor issues. The only thing that does not work is the blower motor. There is some cancer that need to be delt with and some patchy bondo work yippeee. Other than that she runs well now other than DW at about 45 mph I believe that to be unbalanced tires and slight slop in Center arm.

thanks i found a guy today that appears to know what he is doing, and can take my pig in a month or so !!!

he's guessing about $3000.00 ouch. that should repaint the piggy inside and out, rhino line the floor and under carraige, and engine bay.

i still have to get new window rubber, weather strip, seats recovered. i was debating what roof rack to use.

i have the 2f in pieces in my garage, and was wanting to buy a 2f, 1f, 2h, or 12ht. that was ready to go. something i could just bolt in.

I will be keeping it stock. Any and all input really appreciated. The long sleep wasn't to bad to her I do have some cutting and welding to do. Nothing super tough though. The tough part now is figuring out which wires the field mice destroyed.

Don't know your time frame on getting this :pig: roadworthy, but as soon as I get mine ready for the last details at a local shop, it's gonna get rewired. If your harness is toasted you can swap mine in as it's the same year. It's in great, uncut condition & you're welcomed to it. I'll let the shop rewire dude know NOT to hack it up.

Very nice indeed! I was trying to figure out exactly where you live by the pics you posted...I now have an idea. Do not be alarmed if someone (in a '55) starts slowly driving past your house, repeatedly... :)

Yep, I'm a pig stalker. Everyone look out!

Checked out this pig the other day...and realized I know John from years ago. :)

It was good to see you again, and that pig is beautiful. A very nice score, not sure of the price he paid, but it is in great shape. Not much rust, was running quite well when I stopped by, and John has been diligently working on this pig lately. He'll have a reliable runner any day now.

Good luck again John!
Cheers, Carlos.

PS- Janice says 'Hello'.
