I witnessed Phil's truck come down pretty hard on some rocks and the slider stood up well. This is a really good option for most trails.

From our testing a slide step will not hold up with this style of mounting. What our does is offer is clean, light, and affordable protection for the 80 and 100 series.

Attachment to the pinch weld. They have been hit hard enough to crush the pipe (now 30% thicker) on more then one occasion without any body damage. I have over 5000 trail miles on the design.

thanks for the info LCP.
so does that mean drilling and bolting through the pitch weld? i guess i'm just used to frame mounting sliders and may be concerned of opening up the sheet metal to possible corrosion.
i'll be looking forward to the finished and shippable product.
