To fix rust in the roof, inside the headliner it was crusty I opened the can. hours of drilling wels spots, and the result is not too bad. outside structure is shot, but inside structure is ok on the main part. I will ask a society to male me new gutters, and outside pannel of the structure. still lot of gringing, and remove spot welds.

Wow! You are a brave and dedicated Pig lover!

Thanks. Yes I love my pig. In fact underside the rust is easily repairable and not urgent but the holes in the roof was the really important and urgent piont to fix, so I decided to start with the worse. I couldn't imagine an other way than remove the roof to do acceptable work... so did I.

what I am dealing with. Rust, I cut patts of rotten metal and keeped elements to still have the curve of the roof. I will patch parts, then cut parts especially on the B pillar, then patch ...
Do you think I have to cut wider? I left solid metal even with surface rust

In 3 years I look the used cars internet pages, I visited 2 in Germany, comletely rusted, and one in France originally from Switzerland, without papers, 6 in south of france that seem in very bad shape. One beautiful not too far from me imported of USA, beautiful, very expensive. Since I drive, 30 years ago, I never saw one on the road, so it is very very rare, I think I will have the only one about 300 miles around, or less. This is the reason why I imported mine from australia. She is more rusted than I expected, but I cure her. ..

" She is more rusted than I expected, but I cured her." Pure devotion and love for the beast. Well said!

a kind of challenge for me.
