Can’t wait to see it. Easily my favorite fabricator out there for our vehicles. Pure art.

Hope we’ll also see an aluminum version in the near future too!

Will there be a dedicated spot to put a backup camera? maybe attached to the swingout?

I don’t think there is. This is something I’m going to have to figure out as even though the camera isn’t great it’s better than nothing and I don’t want to buy another unit for backup when the car already has one.

Do the front and rear bumpers come standard with the metal "Dissent" name plate or is that something that we should specify when we place an order?

Sorry guys, no exciting updates this week. A lot of cad files getting tuned up for manufacturing. Also working on converting the files for the 1/4" aluminum options.

A lot of people would end up using the stock camera, but there would end up being a few (me included) that would go aftermarket for the pre nav trucks

Anyone care to chime in on how they ended up mounting a factory camera?

@benc What is the estimated weight of the rear bumper with 2 swingouts and tire carrier? I know the accessories can vary but just trying to get a baseline weight.

Thanks!

Should be around 180-200 in steel and 100-120 in aluminum

This is amazing. Ben, you didn't have to do anything to make the other version "better", but you did. There couldn't have been anybody that was complaining about the other version, but you still innovated a better design... Yet another reason why I believe Dissent products are the best in their categories. I can't imagine why anyone would get anything other than a Dissent anything!

I've been keeping my eye open for Dissent 100 or GX for sale in the classified sections too!

You guys have treated me well so my focus will remain the 100 series as long as the orders keep coming.
Keep looking, one or both could be for sale in the near future.

@benc You're not making it easy for me to keep within my current build budget and pull the trigger on your rear bumper now that I got the order in for the front...so much weld porn and such a great design.

Ben I am already waiting to see what other products if any you got planned for the 100 series!

I spy a new brace inside the rear swing arm. Good call! I also added a homebrew brace to my second swing for when I'm carrying bikes + cooler.

Ill stick with wsteel, with my new tour flex heavy springs, I need the weight!

I did the same thing, I put on tour flex heavies in anticipation of Ben's steel rear with dual swing outs. The tour flex heavies are very compliant, but far too tall for a stock weight truck (creates major stink bug). I expected Ben's steel rear bumper would level out the rear, but his bumpers typically aren't as heavy as some other competitors (which is a good thing). I didn't see a change in ride height after my bumper install. Barely changes even with a full cooler and 2 bike rack on the second swing. Will be going back to a smaller spring soon, thinking maybe even OME860!

Very excited to see all of the new products that are coming out! I definitely want a few of those jerry can mounts!

This makes me wonder if I have the heavies, I only got the 2" but it sits nice and level

Sorry for the lack of updates!
Been working on the not so exciting stuff . I did get the main bumper and tow package finalized along with the jigs! First ten are cut and getting bent Monday. Hopefully will get the finalized swingouts mounted soon.
