How much did the powdercoating cost on that? Trying to get a rough price to see what's fair.

Patience my friend. I’m sure there’s a special project in works... ahem ahem.. :censor: don’t want to give away too much..
So it’s been a while since you posted that... what’s this “special thing” that’s in the works? Some sort of secret?

@ERMB FWIW: I was on the fence about getting the swing arms as well. I think with the new design being modular it allows you to have that option. I wouldnt want to take the bumper off to get those arms attached. But, again just my opinion. I bought it with the swing arms.

I'm not getting swing arms either. My dogs are always with me and it's a pain in the butt to get access with them in place.

Patience. I’ll let @benc have the pleasure of making the announcement.

Sorry for the lack of updates guys!
Been pushing hard to get all these bumpers finished up and dialed in.
To answer some of the previous questions.
The tail lights are not covered, the tire and basket set in the same location as the previous bumper. The tire mount can be flipped to raise the tire for better license plate visibility, the plate can also be mounted to the other swing arm.
Also I apologize for the guys that have already received the bumper without installation instructions, I’m working on those as well. There will be extra bolts on the no swing bumpers, you will want to install these bolts with anti seize into the threaded holes not being used to prevent rust. If the coaters did not plug the holes when coating a tap may be needed to clean out the threads.
we are focusing all of next week on welding and packing the rear bumper. Should have 20+ shipping out over the next few weeks.
That being said watch your phone and emails. We will be shipping most of the bumpers via Fastenal due to some policy changes with ups. I truly appreciate how gracious you all have been and have some nice upgrades for all the orders that have gone over the estimated lead time!
Here are some pics I have been gathering for the instructions. These show some of the details in the swing out assy.

Ben, Is there any way you would make a backup camera relocation kit for those of us with OEM cameras?

@CBeckFJ You have an OEM back up camera on a 99? Man, my 99 must have been a BASIC model. I got a tape player in mine, a cracked drivers seat, missing center cup holder, dented tail gate with no accident damage?? , mix matched ignition coils, dog chewed window tint, the ugly fender flares, and I am sure I am missing more.

Its going to dressed up with @benc goodies. Cant wait! 😁

Slee offers a rear camera location bracket that can mount with the spare tire. I ended up buying one of those and looks like it should work well...

They don't have it listed anywhere. I saw it on IH8MUD and then called them directly to purchase it. It was like $40. It gets mounted behind the spare wheel on the studs and will come out of the center of the wheel.
