To the members above referencing times till they receive their bumpers...

Is Ben quoting time frames for delivery now? I was one of the first to order, but haven't heard anything. I did order a swingout as well.

I own a BIOR rear bumper. I've seen plenty of Dissents in person though at HIH and other places to attest that they definitely have more ground clearance than stock and slightly more than even my BIOR which is still better than stock. I'd own a Dissent in a heartbeat if I hadn't found a screaming deal on my BIOR ($600 off a fellow mudder whose 100 got totaled....front torn off in an intersection collision).
Yeah but those are his high clearance bumpers. Completely different than this design

BIOR has both a High Clearance option and a regular clearance option. Mine is the regular which is more akin to the Dissent with slightly less clearance. The Dissents are works of art and definitely offer more clearance than OEM bumpers (more pronounced at the wings) and, at worse, equal to the BIOR....though my observations of numerous installs have led me to conclude that the Dissent has better wing clearance than the BIOR standard rear bumper.

Good points. Keep in mind the no cut rear is going to be slightly lower than the original version with the hitch. I recall Ben saying about 1/2 inch lower?

I don't think there is any time frames mentioned at the moment. I think those referencing their quoted timeframes will likely have to wait longer as the first round of people who ordered back in September/October still haven't gotten bumpers (these are people including me that got a dual swing out).

Ben quoted me 12 weeks back in December when I ordered. Single swing arm but thinking of adding the second for my MTB rack

I was quoted the same amount of time (end of October). But, there was also the last of the 2018 holidays, a custom Tacoma build, an East Coast 200 series build, Ben's own 200 series build, and a couple others on the custom build line... Lets remember, small shop. Give him some time.

Yes, good points. I'm not in a rush and all the images I see look like its worth the wait!

I am in no way shape or form pushing Ben to deliver, I posted here rather than bother him with an email for that reason. I'm in no rush, I have a million other things going on.... It's been 5 months and I haven't even asked him, haha, if I need some e-cred. :D

I was an early order (around first of October) and was just surprised to see others posting timelines and figured I could leverage someone else here that might have spoken to him for an update.

For whatever it is worth (which is probably nothing), everytime I see someone ask in here about delivery I see the same response of give him time, it will be worth the wait, etc etc. I think everyone knows that or they wouldn't have ordered. The wait doesn't bother me one bit and I'm impressed he's upgrading us who are waiting to an aluminum tire carrier swingout, but I am not everyone... And I have seen the internet get in a frenzy a time or two ;). So it might behoove Ben to update the thread every 3-4 weeks so people with orders know the status.

I emailed Ben yesterday, and he replied within a day. He mentioned my order was 2-3 weeks away from shipping.

No hard feelings @Roosevelt T everyone here has been chomping at the bit. He's posted a couple quick pics in the 200 section. So I actually spoke to Ben last Tues regarding my build. I'll be dropping off my 100 for some custom work, he actually had a couple builds ahead of me and we've pushed the dates. So, I'm in no rush either.

Any chance you could supply us with some side shots too? Do you have swing arms going on or are you sticking with just the bumper for now. I'm on the fence about piecing it together in stages or just buy once....decisions, decisions!
Just bumper- swing outs when this is no longer the family hauler.

Thanks for sharing photos. It dawns on me that I'll probably have to fab some mud flaps when I remove the stock bumper.

There’s a little lip and some drainage holes on the bumper but there’s a gap. If you’re driving in mud it’ll definitely be problem until you have time to wash it out. I have the landcruiserphil mud flap delete I’ll modify but there’s also owl expedition’s quick mud flaps that are supposed to work.

Yeah, my concern is more for the folks I'm passing on sanded/graveled winter roads...I don't want to break any windshields. It should be an easy mod to add some rubber flaps.
