Got her finished up for the most part today. A little more grinding and some light tabs and it should be ready for paint. Fender hoops are coped and ready to weld in.

I really like the way it turned out, exactly like one of my sketches.

Big thanks to Sam, Pete and Derrek for the help.

I'd like to see some pics that aren't 12" away from the bumper to make my final opinion on aesthetics, but it certainly is unique, so I applaud you for that

Looks to protect very well and be very strong. That I like very much :D

^^^ I know what you mean, we were standing on s*** trying to get as far as we could into the corner of the garage to see it while we were making it. I have my fingers crossed that it doesnt look terrible when I pull it out. Gotta remember its gonna be sporting 40's and not the pizza cutters come spring....

Its now got light tabs, primer, paint and something else I cant remember. Hawse fairlead, synth line and led reverse lights for the 60/80 came in the mail today....

Tired

I like it, are you going to run front fender tubes too? Not too heavy looking either, be good in the bush.

Got it on today. Randall dropped by and helped me get it on without messing up the paint job. Threw the hawse and a couple lights on there for the hell of it. Fender hoops are drying and gonna be welded on tomorrow if everything goes according to plan.

Before, gayrb style. Hanging a little low and looking way too much like a snow plow.

After, home made cheapo tube thing. Little more clearance, a tad less weight and no more snow plow..... maybe catchers mask but not snow plow.

Still debating on if I should put the charcoal canister back in or to get a vented gas cap and plug the line in the engine bay....

just cut the line headed into the firewall from the dizzy and put a breather filter on it and hang it high on the firewall.

Looking good BTW!

You Canadians are SO organized! Especially the ones north of Toronto!

Yeah eh?

Got the winch cables shortened and routed and got the lights pointed in approximately the right direction today. Made up a bracket to mount the solenoid too.

I'm thinking that workshop could play host to some "rowdy" wrenching sessions.... Extremely jealous!!!:D

Thanks.

Yesterday I reinstalled the charcoal canister under the air box with a bracket I made up. Also picked up a new air filter and threw that in.

Some outside, farther away pics. First time out of the garage since fall after a well deserved bath.

I absolutely love the white Toyota Emblem/Applique on the side. Did it comes stock like this or was that something you added on?
