New 2006 LX in Virginia

So I was able to move my Complete system for Navigation, stereo, amp, and speakers over to the ‘06. The only change I had to make was I had to use the A/C amp that Lou had purchased because the A/C was not turning on correctly. Having a new system is a game changer for these vehicles. I nalso now have a complete set of everything needed to do the Nav Delete in an ‘03 to ‘05 LX if someone wants to buy it. It’s listed in classified under body section.

Trying to decide if I want new wheels first or if I want to go to Delta Vehicle systems and get my new front winch bumper. I found out that Delta Vehicle systems is right here in Boise and I went to their facility and got the full tour. If you haven’t checked out their bumpers for the 100 series you need to. Design is excellent and they are very cool guys!

Here is the latest addition!

Delta Vehicle Systems front Bumper Paint matched to OEM color
Come up 12.5 winch
Baja design squadron pro fog lights

I had to reindex the Landcruiser torsion bars to get my lift back as the front dropped 3” with the new bumper and winch. They were approximately 180 lbs

This week's addition

400 Watt BougeRV Solar Panel - this keeps my 2048WH/ Eco Flow charged all the time. The Dometic refrigerator only pulls about 40 to 50 watts and laying flat with decent sunlight the Solar panel pulls in about 200 watts. If I were able to direct the panel directly at the sun i would easily add 400 watts but I am happy with the 200 or so that I get laying flat.

Very Nice!

You definitely chose the best roof rack to support that sweet setup

I agree. Tim at Gamiviti is a good dude and I enjoyed purchasing from him. Rack is super solid and not a crap ton of bolts to come loose and rattle.

The LX did very well this weekend. First real test since I've owned it. We did about 120 miles of forest service roads and trails. A few of the trails were up and over some pretty steep mountains and the rocks were crazy thick. It performed flawlessly. I definitely need to get my rear bumper ordered so I can carry some extra fuel and a high lift jack. On another note my wife is actually enjoying overloading and shockingly is enjoying sleeping in the roof top tent!!
YAY ME!! :p

Working on a dual battery setup using an Slee battery tray and also waiting on a delta ecoflow 3 and alternator charger. A bit redundant but I like that.

How’d you route the wiring to the rear? I was planning to do it on the passenger side because the alternator charger will connect to the 2nd battery. Do you just pull up the door sill and trim?

I haven’t found good pictures or threads yet.

Previous owner put a hole in the firewall with a rubber grommet for other wires. I was able to pull the wire through the hole in the firewall and then underneath the door sill trim all the way to the back. I took out the ashtray in the area by the 3rd row seats and ran the wire out there to the Eco Flow.

Caution, you should be aware that the alternator gets pretty dang hot, to the point you can hardly hold your hand on the alternator. I ended up putting the alternator on the Molle panel on the rear window to allow air flow.

Decided to Build a drawer system out of 80/20 extruded aluminum. It was a pain in the ass to build but the results are awesome. Also, decided to put in a long pull out table made with 80/20 extruded aluminum and found a nice sheet of stainless steel to put on top.

Looks great man! I like the mic attachment detail. If this saves you a shorted USBC, then it's worth mentioning...put a short piece of electrical tape over that upright USBC port if you don't use it, or put a dummy plug in if you do use it infrequently.
