Hey guys, here's the deal...

My parents came down to Greenville this past weekend for my birthday and my dad and I worked on the cruiser for a little while on sunday afternoon and he thinks it's a carb problem that's got it doing all the funny stuff it's doing. So, what I need from you is one person who's willing to come by one saturday and let me borrow their carb for an hour or so to see if it's a carb issue or not. I'm running a '76 2F with a stock carb. I know it's a lot to ask for someone to let me shangai their carb, but it would be a huge help! Let me know if you can be of assistence!

I think mr. shepard just bought a 78 aisan that he hasn't installed on his 40 yet, I've seen in sittng around at the warehouse at work............... ask him I am sure he will hook you up

I've got two here. A 74 and a 78. Your welcome to try either one. Though the 74 looks like it would be easier to install as it has no smog crap on it.

You can come get it any time this week while I'm in the office.

Jeff you can borrow the 78 carb but I will need it back soon. It's going on my carbless 76. Like next week. You can come by work and get it any time.

I swapped a MUD member my weber carb for a stock carb. I'm waiting on the paedal linkage to come it before I put all back together.

As soon as I get my other projects taken care of (2yrs???) I have a head for a 3fe that I plan on using on it. This was just a cheap alternative to fixing my issues with steep inclines. I now have 2 cruiser that don't run in the driveway. Well the 55 runs but has only one brake working.

But I'd gladly loan out my carb to get another cruiser running.

Marshall, I installed your carb this afternoon and I can't get it to start, so I'm thinking it needs to be bench set first, and it seems like there's some build up internally preventing gas flow. Thanks for the help! But the cruiser gods weren't with me on that one.

So folks, who wants to let me steal their known to be working carb off their truck for an afternoon?
