And are you doing this in that inferno Phoenix heat?

Thanks everybody. Spent some time cleaning up the garage, organizing parts, and ordering a bunch of stuff. Gearing up for a 4 day weekend wrench a thon.

Got the bezel and grill screen painted too........

Been working alittle bit everyday still, although most is not worth posting about. I got a bunch more parts slated for delivery before this weekend.

I picked up this original sales brochure for 1974. It's the best reference material. :smokin:

This engine sticker really ties it all together.......

Got the new booster and master cylinder installed too. Tomorrow I am fixing the trans cover and windshield frame, then preping the last parts for more green paint.

Great pics and great progress!

Happy 4th of July. Nothing says America like restoring your Japanese truck. Good times

Anyways, got the windshield frame ready for paint. Started working on the hood. Need to spend some extra time and make it real nice. Which basically means more sanding on my end. Goal is to have the hood, the trans cover, and windshield frame painted by tomorrow evening.

Rolled it out to try and stay away from the dust. It's a losing battle for sure.

Excellent thread! I like your style, only problem is that I am Hunter Green with envy about that gorgeous sheet metal you find out there! Those things are Killer.

Thanks again. I was pretty happy to finally get the giant hole in the floor covered up. After applying a new gasket, I installed the trans cover. I still need the trans shifter boot, the tcase got all new oem boot and knob. Much better now.
