I remounted the spare tire carrier with some spacers and now the spare fits. Went for a nice cruise tonite around the hood and a few parks.

Did not really work on the 40 since Friday. Was nice to take a little break. I took it for the longest cruise tonight.
My last issue is the flashers that light, but do not blink. The flashers blink though. I have tried another flasher box, with the same results.
Anyways, here's a pic from another park.

Between this build, your photos, and the temps... I'm itching to pop the top off my 40 and go cruising.

We have talked about the cactus before. I know it's history plus what you told me.

At least it's out in public for people to see.

My issue is it's twenty miles from downtown in an area that was desert outside Phoenix back in the 1930s. Phoenix has Heritage Square at Heritage Science. Park in downtown with at least a half dozen homes that were there when the light was made. The amount of foot traffic who would see it including tourists visiting the city far out weights those in it's current remote location. Hey it is close to the old Skunk Creek landfill. Common sense was thrown out the window to make a councilmen happy. Have personal experience of how government doesn't work.

Went on a 70 ish mile cruise tonight. It was a great ride with no issues. Definitely need to adjust the headlights and get some leds for the gauge cluster though.

Took some pix at ASU's big top in south Scottsdale. Got some tasty Italian food at DeFlacos too.

Pulled the gauge cluster to fix a couple issues. The odometer was stuck, so I freed that up and zeroed it out. I also replaced the illumination bulbs with leds. Much better now.

There was a nice storm that brought this double rainbow too

We were admiring that same double rainbow this evening. Staggering!

I failed on the odometer unstick.....lol. I will pull it back out and play some more. In the meantime, I have been addressing a few issues and driving it more frequently. Added a side view mirror. Not the correct vintage, but its's all oem stuff.

The weather is now perfect for a topless Cruiser. Good times
