My truck feels so naked now

That looks really clean! I like it. What product did you use?

Thanx :)

First I applied PPG Epoxy sealer, then shot it with U-Pol Raptor

I had great results using it on my Kei Truck and it's been holding up great :)

On a sidenote, my flares were already Rhino lined years ago.

I thought it was the bug shield at first.

That was the idea ;)

My car club (I'm into a lot more than just mud lol)

Little different design on the roof there.

Aww, what a cute little license plate frame.

I love the plate frame!

Not to hijack, but I just finished my Raptor job too, this is killer material. Snakeater, we need to go wheel sometime, us locals need to stick together!

I have tried to understand this thread and have come to realize that there are psychological components best left alone.

sdog, that looks great!!

Where do you guys wheel at?

Anyhoo, here's a little update:

The 1" square tubing isn't galvanized like the round tubes, so bug juice and rock chips did a number on it....

I ended up welding a piece of 1 x 1/8" steel stock in front of it (the gray paint is weld-thru primer) and then added a pair of limbriser posts to the top..

After scuffing, I sprayed it with an epoxy sealer/primer

Didn't bother cleaning up the welds cause it would all be covered in bedliner anyways...

The stamped steel clamps on the mounts were a bit rusty, so I took a wire wheel to them, then dipped them in plasticote

The thumb clamps were badly corroded, so I hit them with the wirewheel, then a high speed buffer.

More to come tomorrow...

Thanks for the compliment, your ride is looking good too, I'm gonna miss the mailbox tho.
We wheel either at 5-A out in Oak Hill, Hard Rock in Ocala or out of state @ River Rock, Chocco, Morris Mt, etc.
Not a whole lot of choices in the FL flatlands. I'm down for a beer and some cruiser talk anytime, tho! Is Regency your business?

BTW where did you get the license plate frame? i NEED one for my cruiser!

I usually make my own, but this time around I made a template and ordered it from twochicks.com :)

I told them to keep the template just in case any mudders wanted one ;)

BTW, I got a new plate to go with that frame :p

Yeah, the mailbox served its purpose well, but I had way too many people asking me about it on a daily basis :bang:

Regency is one of the family business'

I was bedlining the interior of my boat yesterday and had a bit left over, so I decided to shoot the front of the mirrors :)

Unfortunately, I knocked both of the glass off my table and one of them cracked :bang:

So I ended up yanking one off a golf cart until the replacement comes in tomorrow :meh:

Now's a good time to install mirror defrosters.

dude can you share info about this fuse block and compressor .. ?

thanks !

David

It's a ViAir 450C compressor

The fuse block gets fed by a 2Ga. welding power cable and fuses 4 relays.

5Amp = Air Solenoid Relay
15Amp = L/F Side Rack Light Relay
30Amp = Front Rack Light Relay
30Amp = Rear Rack Light Relay

It also distributes power to a pair of inline fuses that feeds an 80Amp compressor relay.

The block sits on top of a blower fan that sucks in cold air and blows it across the head, then the exhaust fan sucks out all the hot stuff :)

This setup lets me run the system continuously for air tools and it still stays cool to the touch, even when filling twice the rated capacity

I really like the redo of all the plastic. It makes the 80 look way more robust. Have you considered doing the center of the hood while your at? Good job!
