Quick run to Humble and it’s a pair again. My very first land cruiser purchase was a green 72 and so was my latest. It’s getting a carb rebuild and hitting the back burner for now.

Been on a hiatus from the garage, kids have spring break this week. The Carolina relic run is happening soon. I’ve got my work cut out for me if red is going to make it. If not, I’ll be rolling in green bean

Since I won’t be running the hardtop or any heavy loads, one spring was removed from each rear pack. This will provide a nice 45* shackle angle, allowing proper upward and downward movement of the rear suspension.

Pulling the axles for a steam cleaning and some fresh paint. While they are out, I’ll give the undercarriage a steam bath as well. Once it’s all spic and span the new suspension can get hung.
