The AC idler bearing is replaceable. I got a koyo shipped to my door for $10. The alternator idler bearing isn't replaceable and you have to buy the whole pulley. Oh well. It should hopefully get rid of that annoying squeak.

Nice score, my brother just bought a 1985 4Runner for $2500. Guy was asking $4,500, rust, broken s***, failed smog, $2,500 and it's yours.... take it away!

Did about 700 miles in the new 80 this weekend and it ran perfect. Found some minor issues like the rear door and the driver's side back door not locking and unlocking with the rest of the doors but other than that it was good to go.

Anyone want to help me deflare it?

Get it de-flared and I'll help you "line-it" ;)

I just lost the rear section of the rear pass flare. Time to de-flare and line!

Did you get the egr issue solved?

I haven't had a chance to work on it yet. The guy I sold my 4runner to blew the head gasket after he put some crappy aftermarket thermostat in it so I helped him yank the head yesterday. Not only did he blow the head gasket but he cracked the head at the same time. :hillbilly:
