The only body related issue I've found so far are 4 holes in the roof. Probably had a business or taxi sign on top? Need to figure out what to do before it rains.

Bought some new visors!

Dave I have some flat flanged machine screws with rubber washers I used on the 80 when I pulled the roof rack that might help short term, let me know if you’re interested and I can swing them buy.

That's what I was thinking. The alternative is for me to use a welding spoon and weld the hole closed ...without causing a fire. 😁

This card further adds to the theory that it was used to haul tourists ....maybe.

The text on the image translates to:

Al-Samsami Tourism

Contact: 99521800

This appears to be an advertisement or contact information card for a tourism company called "Al-Samsami Tourism," offering trips to a location called "Beautiful Al-Akhdar," with transportation and accommodation available upon request. The phone number provided is for contact purposes.

Generative AI is experimental.

I’m pretty sure I have several in the garage until you decide to burn metal. Do the burning outside so the truck fire doesn’t take out your shop.

Ah, the AI mis-translation of the word “mountain” as “beautiful” threw you off the trail of Oman’s beautiful Green Mountain, 3,000m high gloriousness for which a lot of Troopy trips (and other series, my first was in a 60-) have been made!

Thanks for that clarification!

Man, I’m glad I got to be there when you saw it for the first time. Bill beat us into the driveway by 5 minutes/half a beer.

Campy forever!

Just install some antennas out the roof ;-)
Look at the bright side - you already have what others envy - holes for your antenna, solar charger, light bar...

I got tired of the crappy headlights and installed some LED lights along with a new relay/harness. I can see now!

I started looking at what kind of a layout I want to go with that will allow me to haul my bike while still keeping the truck's day to day utility. Here, I installed a 1UP van rack on a piece of Birch plywood. I'll eventually make a bigger floor board but this will help me move stuff around before I commit. The setup is pretty solid.

The 32 year old steering wheel was pretty slick feeling so I decided on wrapping it in leather for now. Ideally, I would have liked a darker brown, but this will work.

I needed an old man friendly screen for Android Auto and found this on Amazon. Came with a front camera with DVR and a rear camera, too.
