Yup, just made sure everything was good in there, all well.
Filed the collars down so they will slip easier.
Waiting for a shipment from longfield to put it in use up front.
Now i'm open up front, sucks...

Should be alot of goodies crossing the sea right now. ;)

cool thread, enjoyed all the videos and pictures. You guys have a lot of fun and the locations are hard to beat.

Thanks, Elbert! Many good locations, but we are still very restricted.
Upcoming weekend we're going to try out an old road up to finlands highest mountain, though it's not that high. it and old abandoned mining road, not been serviced for a while. Hopefully it's rough enough to get some challenges. ;) stay tuned.

Begynner å bli lenge sida en oppdatering nå.

Hvor har du satt motorvarmeren hen ?

Nice car!

Awesome scenery man. Your van is looking great too.

Havent got much done lately, just bits and pieces. More on that later, when its out of the garage again.

Thanks, then i'll add more scenery. From a trip last spring, got the photos from my friend Victoria Lind, she's got an eye for the right moments to pull the trigger.

Nice cruiser! Just went through this whole thread.

You have many things just like I have, and I'm going to have, like auto locker in the rear and original in the front, I'm just going to use air to control it. At the moment just doing (or trying to do/going to do) several rust repairs, frame is ready to be painted, body needs a few square meters of sheet metal...

At the moment I have just stock 2H, maybe turbo later.

Thanks. its a great locker setup on a 60, no doubt. Are you using the oem cable locker with a homemade air cylinder setup? Do you have a build thread?

I got my longfield long spline inner axle shipped here before christmas, cant wait to beat on that front locker without worrying about the birfs and inner axles. ;)

Yes, that's the plan. No build thread here as of yet, but might start one of the whole car. I have the parts for the locker except compressor, and two long spline axles + several original birfs, longfields are coming when those are destroyed.:D

Oh, and I also have original PTO winch and I've been thinking about moving it behind the transfer, under back seat and getting an electric winch to the front. Then I'd like to route the PTO winch cable behind and around a pulley to the front, so I could use it as a rear winch with a snatch block and as a back-up front winch.

Been thinking the same thing on the pto winch... i really loved it for work-stuff. I think it has to go behind the rear axle, and then hang up the driveshaft to it on the crossmember that holds the shocks.

Got the flywheel resurfaced, hooking up a new 12ht clutch to the 2H flywheel,
D30 birfs, custom made long spline inner longfield to suit the OEM front locker,
Marlin inner seals, lifetime wiper seals, rock rings, ARP hub studs, some ujoints, a set of rock sliders and the list goes on.
Need to get started, only a month til the winter challenge here.

The later throw out bearing on the 12ht has diffenent OD, so i'm using a 85 throw out, same OD as the 2H's.
So this one is tighter on the forks, but the same pressure vs arm.
Thinking about a clutch booster. hmm...

Some cleaning matters.

I love getting the small things done. Theese nipples just need a few mm shave to fit. The old bump stops for the hood was shot.
Bump stop til panseret, de gamle va morkna.

Some of the parts that need quality time. One month left to get it all in.

Resurfaced Flywheel on, pilot bearing, torqued to spec.

Hello Pal, no outdoor garage at the moment?
Good improvements on your car for shure!
I am going to start building my own special soon, bought a low milage hj60 in france last month with a bad body. Got the turbo on the shelf and a late 2H exhaustmanifold to modify!!
Now i need the time to work on it, paperwork and apk (m.o.t) first, then modify the body and install the turbo.

Hi again! Now i have my familys place to take care of, and there happens to be a double lorry service garage. Messy, but gets the job done ;) Installing diesel fueled heating equipment later this winter, so i can heat up the whole building.

Looking forward to seeing your own special, ive seen your work. Did you decide on the wta ic?

tranny is back in... pita job with only two hands, but it got in.
Clutch feels nice and smooth, not harder than the old one.
I'll finish up the bits and pieces tomorrow, and take it for a spin after months waiting in the garage. :bounce::bounce:

Attention to where the cleaning process stopped... ,) :hhmm::idea:
