Thanks, NQ! Thoose photos are taken with a Samsung mobile, not the best quality, but it captured the moment!

Winch is on. my measurements did good, its 1cm in front of the body.
-have to do the in cab wiring. Maybe i'll mod it so i can move the solenoids away and close up that hole above the winch. Man, it's fast and strong!

finally got all the wiring done, in cab control, with switch from an ATV supplier, warn brand, just needed a litte mod. Feels like a quality switch. Also grabbed the signal to the switch from ACC, via the (overkill) rocket launcher switch.
I placed the controller by the window so i can control it from outside too. Sweet.

Then the blonde one got to drive, but she did not manage to get use of the winch. ;)

Went on a full day mountain trip, a few hours from my place.
Just to check out the route for next weekend, pulling lots of rigs up there then.
Almost unmodified, hence the hilux on 32"s AT.

Ill just let the photos rain.

That is awesome. I can't believe there is snow there still, it was in the upper 90's all last week down in North Carolina!

Hello Tlc norway
how is the migatronic holding up ? Im building bumpers at this moment for a customer who also wants a volvo turbo. Can you place or send pics from your setup? I was thinking of a fliped manifold and a shandwichplate.

Greetings Niels

Yup, i can mail you lots of photos, just pass me your mail address.
I'll go out and snap hundreds of photos of all the little solutions for the turbo.

The mig is doing good, but now i'm really low on gas.
The feeder roller is worn, and i cant get another one from anywhere. so i'll have a lathe guy fab me a few spares. everything else seems to be well stocked at the mig store here.
I like the settings too, a bit more opportunities than my last mig.

Roadtrip

Did a 215 eu mile roadtrip this week, its a trip with some of the most beautiful scenery in Norway, many would agree!!
Bad roads, narrow and bumpy, steep and zig-zaggy! Love it!

Had lots of tools and the basic spares, since i was going to camp in uncivilized areas. Did not open my toolbox once, everything was in proper order!!
First time i dont get oily on a roadtrip!!

The better half of me also had a good time, its her first camping trip in the cruiser with me!
Mostly the complaints was on the seats, the noice in high speeds, and the high temperatures in the morning sun...
Decided to camp in the back, and took the full size madrases from my bed, so we could sleep well in whatever weather, anywhere. perfect with in the back, 1,5meters wide, 2m long!

Spent an hour before i left making an awning with things i had laying at home.
Came really in handy, saved one dinner of getting wet, and spared me of alot of sun in the back during sleep. I just rolled it halfway out and hung it over the windows facing the sun, great!

Route was from my place, did all of Lofoten, then 4 hours of ferry to the mainland again, Bodø, drove down the coast to Mo i Rana, then crossed Norway and Sweden coast to coast to follow the warm weather. Things fogged up on the Norwegian coast, so our plans to go to Trollhatten and Trondheim god wiped.
Then spent a few days chilling on the riverside outside Luleå, amazing.

Some pictures tell the story better!

thanks, everyone! I like to read about others adventures and trips, so i'm putting some of mine out! ;)

Now, for some more in 4LO, i got a few clips.
The sound of the blazing wind was to annoying, so i made the youtube video editor take it away, and put in some tunes.
I recommend playing your favorite music to theese videos.

Most of the vids are shot on a recon trip to a height of 666meters, the goal was to get a lot of different cars up there the weekend after. (Jeep Arctic Challenge)
You can see them in some of the clips, stock pajeros, patrols, hiluxes and stuff.
Nothing hard, just a scenic route with different terrain.
Shot in HD on my phone...
