So I guess I joined the fj club today. I picked up 2 1972 fj40s. One is pretty solid but with an unknown motor and the other one has been rear ended but has a good motor and lots of usable parts.

Awesome. The split bench seat is unique to the 71 and 72 models. Are you going to build a stockish or "pirate" 40?
Huh? I've had split bench seats on my 67, 69, 71, and 72. Please elaborate.
Oh ok just I thought it would have had some hoses or something if it was a part of the heater.That box looking thing is the fan for your heat.
I doesn't really look like that since its on both sides. Here a pic off the other sideThe hole is probably from a previous owner putting a CB antenna. It's a very common hole people have on here from people that previously owned them. I had one the guy that did my body work patched it up.
