That's what I would've spent the money on. A new H55F transmission vs a new bumper.

This is now getting ridiculous.

What's ridiculous?
Burning $2500+ and a couple weeks downtime to replace a transmission that already works perfectly fine or spending $690 on something that I will enjoy piecing together in my own spare time.

I don't jerk off to the sight of an H55F like some guys on mud do, so the answer to the riddle above is pretty simple for me.

So, if you're looking for a premium rear bumper for your 60 series, they'll be either a trail tailor or 4x4labs rear bumper in the classifieds in the near future (which ever one I don't plan to keep).

So did you get the new bumper?

So did you get the new bumper?

We got started on it two weeks ago and have only really put about a days work into it so far. But here is how it looked on Woody when we were tacking it all up.

I actually really like the 4x4Labs - I just wish it went all the way to the fender.

Honestly Patrick, I've pretty much always been opposed to a SOA on my own truck, but your 62 is giving me second thoughts. The proportions of 37's are just soo good.

When you get the bug it's hard to turn back...

That's why when I do it again I'm going straight to SOA. No need waisting time or money on SUA lifts when SOA is the best IMO

Patrick what are your thoughts on 63" Chevy springs SOA in the rear and a front 3-link?

I like it. Pretty good on and Offroad. I'd like to do it if I have time. Tht or just add radius up front since mines like 99.98% road driving.

Lets see some pictures of the 4x4 labs bumper !!

Not much has happened. The actual bumper is fully welded and ground down, but We haven't gotten around to starting the swing out yet. I'll post some pictures later today though

@robustbambi Looks like it is a custom housing utilizing LC parts and a True-Hi9 Differential.

Building of the White Rhino <-- Link

Funny on the wheels and tires. How are you going to balance them?
the axle housing is made by front range off road. its a ford high pinion center and 105 series knuckles (this because to retain on the sensors) Someone in south Dakota just finished and know someone in Houston besides the "white rhino" that has a true 105 series

So to get ready for the new 4x4labs bumper Im selling my Trail Tailor centered rear bumper. Absolutely nothing against it or jason, I'm just looking for a new look.

So, if you're interested, pm me or post up in my FOR SALE thread (For Sale: - GA: Trail Tailor Rear Bumper (60 series), NOT THIS ONE haha

Noooiiiiceee

I def agree, 4x4 labs is the best looking swing out rear bumper.

Maybe it was functional/weight balanced on your old bumper but having the tire blocking your rear view would be tough. Not sure if that was a factor? But with the dual 4x4 labs swing out, even with a spare tire mounted, you'll still be able to see straight back.
