you just gonna stick with the stock manifolds? or gonna go the route of some block hugger headers?

This one shows where the old crossmember sits now..
I dont think I'll be able to use it....

Randy... Where about do the motor mounts seat in reference to the shock mounts?
I dont know if the pics show it but they seat between the shock mounts and the bracket stabilizer...

Everything lines up quite nice and seems to be on the right spot but just wanted to get others opinions...

Thanks !!

Dynosoar did all the welding as you can see his name printed all over his welder...

Thanks a bunch Peter !!! :cheers::cheers:

CrusinFJ60....
Those are not the stock manifolds... they came out of a C5 Corvette.. LS2 manifolds... they hug the engine quite nice and seat within the frame rails....

Oh yeah... I wish I could use headers but here in the Republic of Kalifornia yah can't.... bummer eh !!

WAY TO GO MANU!!!! Glad you are at it again. Are you going to fab a new cross member since you got that welder there? FYI are you 100% sure that VSS is adjusted and the relunctor ring is good and snug??? I just had a bad case of DEJAVU. Position looks good how is the inside where the shifter sits?

Randy.. yeah.. I think we are there is a post somewhere in this site that shows this tubular crossmember..... Yes the engine is in but it still needs to be pulled out to put the torque converter in and other things..the motor mounts are just partially welded right now...
I'll make sure everything is nice and tight, thanks !!
I've been reading your last swap and read your post.. I figure I post till I get some progress done or risk getting flamed.. :crybaby:

Regarding shifter.. I did not thought of that and will order the lokar shifter I want to go that route as it looks close to stock...

Hey and your oil sending unit adapter already in? If you don't have one give me a shout.

Oil seding adapter :confused::confused:
Do explain plz...

If you run your stock gauge you will need to run 2 sending units. One GM and 1 yota. Look at my current build and the picture of the rear of my engine is a machined adapter for this purpose.

Randy.. I bought one of them A-pilar gauge pods....I could run a straight GM from/to there no? I'll look at your current tread I really like to keep it stock looking as much as possible...
Thanks eh !!
I also saw the cross member yah did for Scott.. really nice and simple.. I like it....

Yep you can run an after market then, And that mount is bullet proof 1/4 wall plate and tubing plus it bolts in the original location and you can maount a skid plate to it. Since you have Peter there....:grinpimp: Keep it up she is almost there.

looks good. Those exhaust manifollds look nice, if they fit inside the frame rails then that's the only way to go. no screwing around with headers if you don't have to.

how come I didn't get a call on this???? I would've been happy to come help out.

BTW, how's that beard Frank!?
