Hey, i found this site when looking for cruisers. Ive finally found one... im picking it up next week!!! Its a 74 PIG!!!! Do you guys have any good links to clubs etc... other than sor and man a fre? I hope to learn a lot from you guys and am glad to be here.

I'm quite partial to www.birfield.com , and of course ih8mud. With birfield.com, they have a forum specifically for the rare and elusive fj55, if this is the beutiful pig you refer to. Very knowledgable group, with exception of me. www.pirate4x4.com also has a pretty damn good forum going for landcruisers, but for some reason that group owns the majority of the fj45 wagons floating around the US. If you want to learn a little more look up the toyota landcruiser association, I encourage anyone to join, its good karma. They produce a tiny little magazine called Toyota Trails, which I always look forward to, even if it only takes an hour to read. And congrats on finding a cruiser, I'm sure you'll enjoy driving it as much as you'll enjoy constantly wrenching on it.

Congrats on the Pig Purchase! Welcome to the brotherhood. Join the FJ55 list over at birfield.com, that has the best 55/pig community.
Any pics of the mighty beast? Plans on what you want to do with it? Where are you located?
Welcome and good luck!
Brandon Zipp.

I dont have any pics of her right now, they all got deleted when i formated my comp... and she is a bit rough arround the edges. Typical rust for a 55. Rockerpanels need to be replaced and one floor pan needs to be replaced, other than that she is solid, rebuilt engine, new rear diff, warn hubs, the interior is all there, just needs some attention. Got a sweet deal on it i think... Other than that i will use it for some wheelin. Im located in Charleston SC.

Where are you located? There are clubs and cruiser heads all around the country who help each other out.

Low country pigs

Howdy neighbor! An Iron Pig in Charleston? I've heard that before!
I know a lawyer down that way who has owned a pig or two. You are going
to love this brotherhood. Some of us "locals" get together from time to time
and pose as a Land Cruiser club. Mostly SC folks but some far flung fans as well,
known as Upstate Cruisers. Wish you and the 55 had hooked up in time for GSMTR.
UC has several pig owners.
Upstate Cruisers meet the first Saturday of each month at a Sonics. We'd love to
paw that Iron Pig. They look so right rootin' around with their own kind.
Congrats on your most excellent choice of Cruiser.

Drohweder-
That is a sweet 55. Not that I need another car or can afford one but how much you asking?

$15K+ I believe.

Hey Drohweder- if you're in Dixon, with a pig, you better be going on the Pig trip this August... Either that, or bring your pig to davis so it can play with my piggy.
