Mmm - keep in mind that is just the gearing in the shaft-axles. There is more in the drive train - namely the two speed transfer case and the transmission.
Final engine to tire rotation has more going on than just the ring & pinion. So vehicle to vehicle based on only the pumpkins is going to result in apples to oranges.
Thats right, I totally forgot about the transfer case. Only thing you have on a Subaru is a Clutch pack on the tail end of the trans.
I'm looking forward to seeing what this thing can do in the snow, granted I have extremely old hard tires on it at the moment.
If you're REALLY interested - I recall that there is a thread here about final drive ratios engine to road accounting for different tires, gears, the transfer case, all four transmission gears and with & without the torque converter. It had to do with someone wanting to go on a trail ride, but the Jeep guy in charge of it insisted on all vehicles having a 90:1 final ratio or some such thing. Maybe someone else will remember enough of that one to search and find it - or you could give it a shot.
Oh - and since the others seemed to have missed it, Welcome!![]()
Thanks! I'll PM him!
These are the Bezels I got from Cruiserparts.net, I painted them a similar brown to match (As they were gray)

Nice paint job on the trim pieces! For posterity and assistance to other cruiserheads who may need to do this with their cruisers, what brand, type and color of paint did you use?
