I made them gender specific so that I can't accidentally swap the supply and return hoses & tubes. So the supply hose ends are all female and the return hose ends are all male. To mate them to the OE tubes I silver soldered a modified AN -6 steel plug onto the supply tube and a pre-flared short section of 3/8" steel tube with AN tube nut and sleeve onto the return tube.
All of the fittings are Weatherhead "Push-Lock" and the hose is Aeroquip FC332. These just push together and without a clamp (clamps are actually bad for them) the service pressure rating is 250 psi and the hose is good for up to 300*f service temperature. FC332 hose is virtually impervious to any kind of fuel or oil. Long term total submersion of a short sample of the hose in gasoline showed no effect on the hose what so ever.
