Build My 1975 lazy style revival thread

Rear is all sealed up and got new brakes. Just need to add oil with LSD additive, bleed brakes, and possibly adjust.

Not much is different visually, but I am making progress. Driveshafts are cleaned, painted, greased and bolted in. Everything that requires gear oil is now full. Brakes have fluid. Still need to bleed and adjust though.
I am looking forward to getting alot done over this Labor Day weekend.

Got the steering parts ready to assemble. Also made templates for the inner fender repairs. Starter is in but need to measure and possibly adjust.

Front fenders all fixed up. It's not my best work cause these fenders are alittle rough to start. They are much better now though.

Fenders bolted on loosely. Patch panels worked out wonderfully.

Front end on for good. Radiator support is in place. Even reattached the fender Vin tag.

Those inner fenders look great… someday I should do the same. The glass fenders I’ve been running for a few years don’t have any inner fenders at all. It does make charging plugs easier.

Thanks for the props. This morning is going slow. Bolted on the catch can and some new apron emblems.

Made a fan shrould for the electric fan that came on this truck. I hate fans mounted directly to the radiator core with zip ties. Plus there's a gap behind it so it should have good flow.
New oem cap too. I prefer the earlier style with the writing and symbols stamped in....plus the chain.....but I had this one already.

Cleaned the wiring harness and dressed it into place. Added the horns and radiator support rod. It's starting to come together.

Almost forgot I installed these turn signals. They are older Specter made in Taiwan specials. Pretty cheesy but came new in the box with this truck.

Brakes are bleed and seem to be pretty good. Steering is bolted in and adjusted via tape measure.
Still need to clean, paint and put new hardware on the steering box.

Finished up a few odds and ends. Wheels back on, but still on jack stands.

Jack, I know for sure, your build threads motivate all of us , it really does help to see you making almost daily progress, not sure how you manage, but you do!! Anyway, cheers to you!!! For all your grest content and your arizona trail coverage!!!

Alittle bit everyday.......got the new turn signal and ignition switch installed under the refinished column covers. Steering wheel is pretty rough, so I'll get to that later. Back on the ground with a relative in the background.

I was on a roll, so I stabbed the distributor. Then I laid in the plug wires. I have to shorten and install the terminals and boots still.

Finished the spark plug wires. They'll get tidied up later after I start this thing. Which should be tomorrow after alittle more work.

Valve covers bolted down. PCV and fuel lines complete. Just need to install my test wiring, temp fuel tank, and battery.......then give it a go.
Lunch break first.
