These will dry over the weekend. Then Tim will spray the areas under the plastic with epoxy primer, seam seal, and spray the bedliner. Let that set up for a day and then wet sand and buff the painted surfaces to remove the orange peel.

Looking good!!!!

Poser pulled the cam shaft to check it's condition as part of the build up of the 2F engine. Found 3 lobes were worn. Sent it off to Delta Cam in Tacoma, WA to have it inspected and repaired. Hopefully it's back next week.

KUNZMA: (Dec 26,2016 and just a little north of you in British Columbia)
I just read your whole thread......great story and a great set of pics. Very interesting and helpful.
I have a 1966 FJ45LV , frame S/N: 22080 (your's is 22012.....so they are cousins at least!). Been working on her for four years: similar story to your own but longer. Full frame off and just reassembling now.....should be running end of January.
Pics to follow when I figure out how to post pics.

Decided to go with white instead of body color on the roof.

Smart choice IMO! Loving the expedited updates!

I had the interior of the roof sprayed with tinted bed liner to help with sound. Cleaned the surface and then found the centerline of the roof and marked it with some blue tape. Taped plastic to protect the painted surfaces before spraying the glue on the front half of the roof and headliner. Carefully laid down the headliner and made sure I had enough to tuck under the leading edge. Then glued the rear half and trimmed the extra after the liner was in place.
