I recently finished the rear drawer unit that I've been working on for some time now, and sold it right away. Just before I completed it, I decided that I wanted to go a different direction with this build, and quickly realized this would work.

With my old drawer unit gone, this gives me a clean slate for the new build, and it starts with a @Bellfab tire carrier.

I decided to get rid of my Sherpa Equipment roof rack last month, and pull the trigger on the @Delta VS roof rack and couldn't be happier. I ended up having this powder coated locally, and sourced all new black oxide stainless hardware to complete the look. I also added the new 23zero Peregrine PRO awning to the driver side.

I continued to take advantage of the good weather by replacing my taillights, and rear side marker lights. Both of my taillights were cracked, and taking on water. The side markers both had bad seals, and it was just easier to replace the entire thing.

Another day of no rain means another day to install something new. Yesterday I was able to get my new @yodaTEQ gullwings installed. I ended up building these into new frames so I cold preserve the OEM glass with frames. While I had the glass out I was able to replace the vents and belting on both sides.

Somehow I've missed this thread for the last year. I'd be interested in one of those shift lock buttons if you still have them.

Also what made you decide to swap the sherpa rack for the Delta rack? I liked my old sherpa rack on my previous vehicle and was considering going back with them on the 80.

I have a fair amount of shift lock buttons on the shelf still.

I didn't care for the look of the Sherpa rack on my 80. I have their rack on my 19 4runner, and love the way it looks on that vehicle. I felt like the rack sat up kind of high, and the Delta just blends in so much better.

I know they are making a new style slim rack. Dunno if it exists for the 80. I have a feeling they will be at Toyota Jamboree in May so I'll check it out then. I still have their awning mounts I kept from my last vehicle so I'm keen to go back with their rack to save some money.

Currently with 35s and 3" lift I can barely fit in the garage so a rack is out of the question. I'm planning to go 34s when I replace the tires though and possibly down to a 2" lift. Undecided because I like the long travel of the flexi lift.

Just let me know how you want payment and sort out shipping. I'm in Louisiana.

You can buy the button through my website, link.

I should be starting on my lift today if the rain continues to hold out.

I have somehow never seen/heard of your site before. Very nice. Ordered the button and a patch for my collection.

I came across some welting (think that's what it's called) for the door openings this past week, and swapped them in on the four doors. My Cruiser was obviously from a former smoker based on the yellowing seen on most interior parts, and I can't get over the difference in these.

Quick question… where did you source the welting from ? Looking great so far. I’ve got a 94 i’m working on restoring also…

Installed. Even took the time to replace the light in the shifter. The Japanese text was a funny touch. Thanks for the prompt shipping. Also thanks for throwing a sticker in. 10/10 would do business again.

I have a local source that parts out 80's, and he just happened to have a set.
