For those interested, should be mtg with the guys next week which means we'll be able to get sets of brackets shipped out. Going to switch mine for the Aluminum model as well to help with corrosion (little surface rust on my steel ones). No apparent damage to bumper, grill or otherwise and months and thousands of miles in.

Sorry for the delays!

Just as an update - I've reached out a few times to have my brackets machined and am still stuck on scheduling. Sorry for the delays...

I have floods in the bumper. The location is great. The light bar is 40”. I wouldn’t go 30”. The fabricator who made the little mounts for me is not a reliable person and I will not give him any positive feedback on mud.

I like the looks of the lights behind the lower grills. Where are they attached to? Also, I thought about installing a rigid 30" bar on the roof directly in front of the rails (as you did). My questions are, are these lights effective being mounted that high and how much labor was involved in the mounting and the wiring. NICE JOB!
Sorry I forgot to include bumper pics.

On my (former) '13 I followed SQRRRL's lead, at least in principle. The lights I used (Black Oak 10" x2) had a very simple mounting bracket, so I had some longer ones made to center the light bars in the bumper. (I have a HWM on my '16, so they don't fit, I'm on factory lighting for now)

I saw this choice install at my local overland shop. Pretty simple. 1/4" thick x 5" 6061 bar bolted to the LC's steel bumper support bracket. Not sure if holes were drilled or if it was just sandwiched, but looks like 1/2" or 3/8" bolts in there and they were solid.

Just got version two of my BD LP6 Mount installed late last week - Thicker steel behind the grill, an anchoring plate and two bolts to the frame per side (existing holes) and this one is powder-coated. Dimensions are locked for CNC Aluminum - way less bounce than the light mount I had mounted on my Jeep / version one of this set-up. I'll go back this week to make sure the aluminum version fits, test it on a quick 6k roadtrip and bbbe good to go. For those that want to move faster, once the CNC version is mounted on my truck next week, you'll be good to go. Otherwise, back from Montana June 1 and can say how they hold up over rough roads and thousands of miles. Last ones held up for 7k, just a little surface rust (now powdercoated, not an issue with Alu) and a little more vibration at speed than I'd like. Sorry for delays!
