We've had to do some serious hacking to the grill to get the ARB to fit. Won't know for sure what we've got until its done. I may need to have something custom made...

I am sorry to hear that but I am not surprised. I actually contacted the Crystal For Cars people on IG to see if they are willing to produce, sell, and ship their bumpers here to the states out of curiosity. I'll let you know what I find out.

Great build bro...love the LX. Love atomic silver...have the same color on our GS F. Good luck with the front bumper.

Hah, I follow them on IG as well and thought about asking the same; Let us know what they say.

Also, more updates on how the ARB fits, please.

Not much in the way of detailed updates but I know the install is complete. Michael at @WanderOver sent me a few updates and hopefully he can shed some additional light soon. The ARB bumper did not have cutouts for 4 sensors that the LX has, and the LX sensors would not fit, so LC sensors were ordered and installed. However there were some issues ie direct plug and play not working, and so some soldering and harnesses and brainstorming were required.

I’m anxious to see it myself :)

Yes, let me know.
I also need to resume my project to have custom front abs rear emblems created.

Wow, this looks bada**. Looks like it took some serious work to get it to fit but I think it flows with the LX lines better than I expected, especially after seeing the pic of the other car a few posts above.

Thanks! I think the hoops make all the difference (and of course the pain match since this color is nothing like the flat black the bumper comes in).

It definitely turned out better than I expected. Seems to be a lot of custom work and massaging to get it to that point though?!

I am still holding out for a LX specific front bumper for the 2016+, but I love what you did here.

@Tex68w there were definitely some new and custom tweaks required. I suspect most of the difficulty came from the newness and discovery aspect and replicating will be a lot less tedious. Hopefully Michael will comment in detail when his backlog gets caught up a bit.

Looks great, although I notice all photos are from "lower" angles. How is it from standing height?

Colour match is well done; barely any noticeable difference!

Sorry it has been a while since I have updated! ARB front is finally done and have a few minutes to post an update. As alluded in a few previous posts, while the bumper was technically a bolt-up affair as far as frame mounting, etc there was a lot of tedious custom trimming and fitting done to get it to fit. Also, zero room for error in mounting adjustment as there is less than 1/4" of room for the hood to open at the upper cross bar and light mount tabs.
Some things we learned:
- The LX has 4 parking sensors vs 2 on the LC200. And the LX sensors mount differently so we had to source 2 200 series sensors to work with the provisions in the ARB bumper and the 2 center sensors had to be custom mounted behind the "mesh" insert in the ARB. We cut out the mounts from the factory grill and grafted them behind the insert. The outer parking sensors are also wider apart on the ARB bumper so the harness had to be lengthened.
- The ARB bumper uses 200 series factory LED fog lights so we had to source those as well. The LX fog light connectors are not the same as the 200, luckily we had a 2019 Tacoma in that we were installing a front bumper on that did not utilize the factory fog light connectors so we were able to steal that harness and graft it into this build.
- The cut template does not line up very well, we left an extra inch in place from the fender to bumper line and that almost wasn't enough to "fine tune" the bumper/plastic gap at the wheel well. We'd leave more like 1.5" next time to leave more meat to play with if needed.
