There is a similar thread in both the 100 and 200 Classifieds Sections, makes sense here too. These trucks are changing hands at a rapid rate these days, having consolidated live market data is a nice thing for both buyers and sellers.

If you have recently bought or sold an 80 series and are comfortable sharing the details, post it here.

It wasn't Triple Locked. Although that's my favorite interior for an 80-series.
If i didn't already have it's twin I would buy that 1994. I paid more than that just two years ago but mine has a recent paint job. That's a great deal at $10.5k

Premium rigs will continue to bring premium money and finding a “Great Deal” on one is a fantasy, there are only so many! In most cases if you really want one, pay what they are worth and enjoy the appreciation and you will be ecstatic in 5 years!!!

Rust and accident free is becoming hard to find, low mileage is now less than 200k, and rare configurations; Poverty Packs, 95+ with Cloth seats, roof rack/spoiler delete, Sage 40ths, Desert Dune CE’s, single tone Moonglow, heck even good Green and Red factory paint, or solid white/black trucks, especially triple locked are all becoming unicorns!

The great thing about the current market is there are some solid adventure rigs at more reasonable prices, of $10-$20k.

Yeah, they all have bad paint, maybe a little rust, or need major baseline maintenance, hopefully there are a few mods to offset the compromises, but these rigs get more folks in the hobby of enjoying 80’s and that is a good thing!
Speaking of 95+ with cloth seats, mine has cloth with a pattern I haven't seen before. And green to boot....#unicorn?

Nice! I have only seen 1 or 2 non tan cloth later 95+ rigs and all those were in pictures!

The Manual adjustments in the factory cloth are an equal bonus, lack of complexity plus they provide an extra ~1” of leg room than the problematic power seats! Does yours have the third row seats deleted also?

Thoughts on pricing for this opportunity would be appreciated? Looking at a 1995 with 170,000 miles, Southern truck with no rust to body, red paint in good shape other than the faded hood, tan cloth interior, factory lockers (K294), factory roof rack delete, factory installed supercharger. It does have a branded rebuilt title due to front fender damaged while off-roading. What is a reasonable sale price range I should consider?

Nice find! If you pass, please pass it along!

Yeah. The guy I bought it from did not have the 3rd row seats. I wont need them so I haven't tried to source any.

Mine is a 01/1995, green (6m1), grey cloth, gold emblems and triple locked.

Cheers

For like $65k I would! 😂🤙

Cheers
Haha, well played!

And honestly probably worth it...

Unfortunately, my 80 fund isn't there unless you want a 13bt 1962 FST plus some cash ;)

I didn’t realize it was grey cloth interior, that is very cool, plus I really like the green!

I might have to source some black chrome emblems from a CE or 40th in place of the gold, I couldn’t go that deep 90’s!

Most importantly, it gets exercised in the wilds of Idaho just as a Land Cruiser should!

I’m semi local to this one and still have my CL notifications on… cloth seat envy. Surprised it hasn’t been snagged up yet since it’s been a few weeks.

You have a 70 series to pick up! Don’t get distracted by these 80 series shenanigans!
