Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Not sure I got as good of a deal as @LeRoy Cordova :) - sweet rig Leroy - but after 6 weeks of scouring the market, I purchased a black on black 2017 LC with 650 miles for $65k. Basically a brand new LC, with the original warranty - it was only triggered in July so more than 2.5 years left on the 3 year plan. Still on the fence as to whether I should by the 100k extended. Would appreciate any current 200 series owners as to issues they have encountered that might justify the additional $3k spend.

I may be putting my 2006 100 up for sale in January...though not quite sure I can part with it. If I can convince my wife to sell her 2011 Land Rover (fingers crossed), we may be a two Cruiser family  This group will be the first to know if I am going to sell - it is in great shape with only 201k on the clock.

Thanks for the insight and advice here, and contributions to this forum in general!

Thank you ATXcruiser, I always wanted one but recognized that if I purchased one it would be very hard to justify offroad mods on such an expensive vehicle. Finding this one with the extended warranty and service plan along with the mods put me in a position where I felt nearly obligated to purchase. Just took it camping and wheeling, totally feel as though I'm cheating. Let's see your 200 brother!!!!!

bought a 2015 lx570 54k miles private party for $42.5k. It was a lexus CPO, too bad I can't transfer it. Truck had been a rear fender bender in 2015 with no airbag deployment. I think someone else here looked at this truck a couple months ago. here she is tucked away in my garage.

I just recently purchased a 2014 TLC with 48k miles for 43k. I think it was a ok deal but not a super deal. Blizzard pearl with tan interior. This is my 2nd 200 I love them.

seems like a darn good deal to me. that color combination is very desirable and adds 3k in value to the price.

That’s one heck of a deal. Congratulations!!!
How did you manage to get it for $65k?

Bought this for 18k a little over 2 weeks ago. Like many of you, i spent months and looked at thousands all across the country before finding one that was a fit for me. I probably annoyed a few sales reps and wasted a few people's time in the process, sorry!

I waited until now to post because i had a 2-week return period for a refund, and i wanted to make sure i was going to keep her first.

I bought her at 180k, she now has a little over 182k and has not skipped a beat in the short time i have had her. Radiator replaced at 150k, AHC flushed in last 10k, no accidents, new tires and she has not seen any service outside of a Lexus Dealership. She has been taken into the dealer at ~5k intervals her entire life, and owners went with recommended service the vast majority of the times (given that the car does not need much). The PPI came up with her only needing brakes in the near future. I found some new TRD front pads for $40 bucks on ebay, and am hunting for a good deal on rear pads. For now the brakes are fine though but if she starts squealing i will do pads and see if rotors are still good.

She has been a NJ/PA car her entire life, so i was very surprised to see that the undercarriage has less rust than many NC cars i have seen.

I have not found a single thing on her that does not work, and i tested everything i have found so far. Even had a little fun with the ECT power button yesterday, and really happy that is an option; it helps me cope with not having a manual for that reason. For 2 weeks i tested her as best as i could, expecting to find something wrong because of the price, but now i have nothing but good things to say about this car. My co-worker offered me 20k first night in NC and i immediately turned it down. His offer is now at 25k 2 weeks later, after i let him drive it XD, but i still told him no. He's like family to me so i would never mark up the price, so i told him i would help him look for one. A few other co-workers have stated they want one as their next car as well, so it looks like i will still be on the hunt, but this time not for me.

I couldn't be more happy given the price i paid and feel very lucky to own such an amazing vehicle.

I will attach the few pictures i have already resized for mud and lump the other pictures into a google photo album. I plan on building her up to be a capable overland vehicle, so my next step is to start a build thread on here. I am very excited about spending 2020 building her up to the car i used to only dream of having!

Will take better photos and get the build thread up during Christmas break!

Dangcat beautiful truck at a great price. What is the model year? Private sale? 18k is a steal - I'd have bought it in a heartbeat!

Thanks brother! She is a 2008, and yes on private sale. He originally listed it on 2 sites for $25,500 so yes i feel like i just stole and ran off with it xD. To top it off the TRD pads I got for 40 bucks got here today! Feel like I stole that too lol.

Anyone shopped the new market recently? Best I can find is around 76.5 for a new 2020 without nag and before tax, title and tags in northern VA. What should I be shooting for?

That’s a little less than what I have been seeing in NW FL for a ‘20 that had been sitting on the lot for a few months.

LCT, I was fortunate to find it online just as it was listed at the Santa Monica Toyota dealership, no pictures, no price. I jumped to check it out the next day, they wanted $71k, I said $63k, and we settled on $65k. Vehicle was never really listed with price or pics. My big problem now is that my wife loves it and she wants one for herself! Doh! So much for keeping my free and clear 2006 100!

In NC. Price seems very good. Got mine two months earlier for slightly higher but got as well a great trade in value for the 2016LC (what I see people paying for 2017). Check Edmunds.com for invoice pricing. On top of incentives the dealer get 3% back at the end of the year. If you can get them to break even you did great. I couldn't get any dealer to that In Raleigh as market is hotter and could get a 19 for a steep discount so got one 100 miles away from a smaller town.

Purchased a 2009 LC 124K miles December 15th in Salt Lake area from a dealer for $27,900 + TTL
Total base model. Seems all stock except for OME rear shocks and Fuel wheels. Well maintained, no accidents on Carfax.
